The role of carbohydrates for muscle growth is very important. The low carb diets are dietary programs that restrict carb consumption. The amount of carbohydrate allowed varies with different low-carbohydrate diets. Foods high in digestible carbohydrates are limited. They are replaced with foods containing a higher percentage of moderate protein. The other foods low in carb although other vegetables and fruits are often allowed.
